The 2016 NARA Spring Conference is right around the corner! With all the legislative changes that are taking place in this country, it is more crucial than ever to make sure you and your business are prepared for whatever is to come. Today we’re going to continue our preview of some of the things you can expect from the conference. Wednesday, May 4th: Day 1 of the Conference There will be a light breakfast and sign-in, followed by the president’s welcome. From 9:30-11:30 will be a presentation by George G. Olsen, Esq. on “The 24 Month Looking Glass:  What is May to Come in 2016 and 2017?” He will cover the differences in visions of the current candidates and impact on healthcare.  He will break down possible situations based on the scenarios of the election.  Attendees will be able to take a look at what the future may hold for their business and prepare for these different circumstances. This will be followed by lunch and a general legislative session, with two breaks in between. Then from 3:15 – 4:00pm we will have preparation for Hill Visits with Legislative Updates. We will review information packets that can be provided to Congressional Representatives during your visits to Capitol Hill.  You will also be provided with talking points to help with discussing the issues and impact to rehabilitation providers. From 4-6 p.m., we will have a “speed dating” type event between Providers looking for Solution Partners to meet their business’ strategic goals. This event will start the process for meaningful networking and connections throughout the NARA conference.  Each Owner/Provider will have an opportunity to request matches in categories of interest…and Solution Partners will have an opportunity to meet key decision makers. Finally, from 6-7:30 p.m., we will have a Welcome Reception. As you can see, we have a lot planned and a lot to cover in our Spring Conference… and that is just Day 1! We will continue to preview the conference in upcoming blogs. In the meanwhile, don’t forget to register!
